IAPMO Offers Amnesty Program for Expired Certifications

The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials recently announced a program that provides people with expired certifications an easier and cheaper path to renew. This one-time program gives individuals the option of taking an online test and paying a reduced fee to reinstate their certification.

The amnesty program for IAPMO certifications will run through 2019 and allows individuals with expired IAPMO certifications a path to renew their certifications in an easier way. This one-time program will allow previously certified inspectors and plans examiners who would need to otherwise reinstate their certification or to retest completely an alternative option to renew their certification.
