- ChemDrain® CPVC pipe and fittings are for chemical waste drain systems and offers a safe, durable, easy-to-install and economical alternative for institutional, academic and commercial laboratories. ChemDrain® is designed for chemical waste drainage where temperatures will not exceed 220 deg F. It has excellent resistance to acids, bases, salts and a wide range of organic media and is joined using a one-step solvent cement.

- This specification provides requirements for CPVC solvent cement to be used in joining CPVC pipe and socket fitting
- ChemDrain® fittings to be manufactured from rigid chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) compound with a cell classification of 23447 per ASTM D 1784
- Never test with or transport/store compressed air or gas in PVC/ABS/CPVC pipe or fitting
- Only use PVC/ABS/CPVC pipe for water or approved chemical
- 300 Series stainless steel with fluoroelastomer gasket
- For use with steel, cast iron, plain end glass or any other SCH 40/STD or SCH 80/XH IPS size plastic or metallic pipe
