- The HOLDRITE® #117 Series NO-Hub Fitting Restraints are designed to reinforce no-hub cast iron installations at 90 deg change of direction in accordance with the installation instructions of U.S. cast iron soil pipe manufacturers, CISPI Designation 310-11 and the 2006 CISPI installation Handbook. The #117-3K (2 in and 3 in size), #117-4K (4 in size), #117-5K (5 in size), #117-6K (6 in size) and #117-8K (8 in size) retain the 90 deg elbow onto the adjoining piping. All five stainless steel bands must be tightened to 60 ft/lbs minimum. When installed correctly, these restraint brackets achieve a safe thrust pressure rating equal to 50 ft head of water pressure.
